Isn't it sorta aggravating when you do some online shopping and it asks you "do you have a coupon code" and you have to say "no, I wish I did". Well now you always will!

Now that I've settled in here, I'm back to the things I like to do. Like looking for good deals. Kimberly had a great link on her blog for fistfulofcoupons.com. I checked it out and it's gotten me back into the swing. So I got out the coupons and ads and tried to find some good deals.

First we hit Rite-Aid. Here's what we got:





Retail price was $55.38. I paid $18.80. Savings of $36.58! This is actually 12 items. That means I paid about $1.50 per item. Not bad right? I think bathroom and cleaning products are really the biggest hitters in our grocery bill. And that's what most of this stuff is. Take a look at your local Rite-Aid for 50% off tags. They were all over our store on stuff like laundry detergent, dish soap, cleaning products. And if you have any coupons you can get some great deals!


Then we went to Fred Meyers because they had cereal 5 for $10 and I had coupons for $1 off two boxes. So we paid $1.50/box for 4 boxes of cereal. Cereal is definitely the easiest deal.


And the best deal going right now until 7/28 is at Restaurant.com. They have an 80% off promo code. The code is NAPKIN. The normal price for a $25 gift card at restaurant.com is $10. With the promo code it's $2. So you get $25 gift card for $2! Not kidding. It's real. I have some. So go to the website and get some. How can you not?

Oh man...I love it when I hit the perfect garage sale.

As you can see, I hit one today. WOOHOO!

Mason got:

• 5 pair jammies
• 2 corduroy pants
• 3 short sleeve rompers
• 5 long sleeve rompers
• 3 onesies
• 2 overall sets (NWT)
• 1 onesie set with pants (NWT)

Makayla got:

• 3 skirts (1 NWT)
• 3 long sleeved dresses
• 1 pair long overalls
• 1 pair jeans
• 2 long sleeve shirts
• 2 sweaters
• 2 pair jammies
• 1 short sleeved shirt
• 1 pair shorts

All this for the bargain basement price of $40!!!! That's just about $1 each. Definitely a deal (or steal).

Deals (or should I say steals) of the week...

Julaine told me that summer toys were on sale at Target so I ran over there to see what I could find. I did find some toys, which I'm saving for Christmas, but the better deal was definitely on patio furniture. It was 75% off or more!!!! These chairs were $17!!!!!


Then I went garage sale-ing this morning and found these. Now it's pretty obvious that both of these are projects. Fred has to sand the table, then we'll stain it and get a peice of glass for the top. Then the chair just needs re-upholstering. I'm hoping it's as easy as it looks on the tutorials. Each of these peices were $10.
