Kicks

Now that Mason is walking all the time now (and even starting to run) we thought he needed some shoes. A few weeks back we tried some WalMart sandals. I knew he wouldn't like shoes because he's never liked to have anything on his feet. So we tried cheapies at first to see how it would go. Just like I said, he hated them. So then we just let him go barefoot. He loves being barefoot. But a couple weeks ago he got a sliver of some sort in the bottom of his foot and it got a little infected. So I thought it was time to force some shoes on, at least while playing outside. So this is what he got this weekend:

He actually doesn't mess with them at all. I think because we made such a fuss over him "Oh what a big boy with your new shoes!", he loved the attention and started showing them off. Now he goes to the closet and says "shoes" when he wants to go outside.
