Sewing

A very good friend let me borrow her "extra" sewing machine (thanks Tina) so I could finish my little apron project. I really don't like to leave things un-finished. Yesterday I was determined to purchase a new sewing machine. I went to three different sewing stores, all of which were closed for the holidays. Why didn't I just call the other two after I discovered the first was closed you ask? Because I was on a mission. After three closed stores you can imagine I was getting quite frustrated. I decided to go to JoAnn fabrics just to see what they had. On the way there I was wondering why the world was out to defeat me today. I thought to myself that there must be a reason why, was I not supposed to sew these things, was I not suppose to buy a new sewing machine today? Then we pulled into the parking lot at JoAnn's and I saw Tina. We chatted for a minute, I told her my dilemma and she offered to let me borrow hers! So the moral of the story...there is always a reason why things happen.

Anyway, her machine is awesome. I had so much fun with it that I finished my apron, made a matching one for Makayla, and made a bib for Mason.
