Christmas morning was as wonderful as I'd hoped it would be. My favorite moment was when Makayla saw the empty plate of cookies and realized Santa had come. She was so excited! She then turned around and saw all the presents under the tree and exclaimed, "LOOK...SANTA CAME!". It was so adorable, I nearly cried with joy at her reaction.
It took most of the day to open presents. At first she quickly blitzed through a whole bunch of presents but lost some steam by mid-morning. She wanted to play with each and every new toy. But after nap, she gained some momentum and finished by 3:00 p.m.
Makayla says thank you to Nana, Papa, Lolo, Lola and all her aunties, uncles and cousins for all the wonderful gifts.
